commissioned to finalize and render technical illustrations for a coat and jacket as part of the brand's collection. following the design phase, the garments were developed from concept into finished pieces. both jackets were patterned, constructed, and sewn by hand. the project covered both the technical design process and full garment production. the final pieces became part of the brand's completed collection. view the entire collection at : https://www.instagram.com/ad____vance/

OCEAN SAVAGE

during this project, responsibilities included creating fashion illustrations and contributing to the hand construction of garments for ocean savage's collections. illustrations were produced for the untacked collection to clearly communicate the design, construction, and overall aesthetic of each look. each rendering was completed by hand using alcohol markers, colored pencil, gel pen, and ink pen to create depth, texture, and dimension throughout the collection. in addition to illustration work, responsibilities included hand sewing all exterior embellishments on a jacket for the horsefly extended collection. this included attaching beads, leaves, lace, and other decorative elements entirely by hand. the process required precision, patience, and close attention to detail to ensure every embellishment was securely attached while preserving the integrity of the design. approximately 15 hours of hand sewing were required to complete the jacket. both projects demanded a high level of craftsmanship and an understanding of garment construction and presentation. the work combined traditional illustration techniques with detailed garment finishing to support the overall creative vision of each collection. these contributions played a role in the successful development and release of ocean savage's untacked and horsefly extended collections.
